Question by HelpMePlease: what is a good web-site that can give dog training info on tricks?
I would like to teach my dog some cool trick such as dance, roll over, sit, stand, lay down, play dead, and all the other cool tricks dogs can do. I also would like to train my dog to walk with me without a leash, and so on. Does anyone know a really good web-site that is free and provides good training methods? Thanks!

Question by Andrew C: What’s the best treat to give my dog during training?
I have a 12 week old female english bull terrier and we’re trying to get a head start by training her at home. She’s enrolled in a wonderful private dog training facility but she doesn’t start until she’s 16wo. She’s very food motivated but I feed her high quality dog food (taste of the wild bison), and I don’t want to just give her any old treat.

What are some brand names of high quality treats that are easy to give to puppies when training?

Bil-Jac Liver Treats. They are extremely high quality and made with chicken liver and they’re about the size of a penny.

Casey is two. I adopted her from the Humane Society. She had no training so we’re working on stuff. She anticipates a treat and sits before I tell her to. Should I do something else? Also, she has a gazillion toys yet chooses to dig my underwear out of the hamper to play with. Do I just shut the door to the laundry or can I train her it’s bad and how?
The treat anticipation is what worries me. I think she’s an amazing dog too!

I am a little confused.

From what I gather it is a way of reinforceing commands… that’s all I know. Am I close?
